With over forty years in the industry between us - we have the skills, 

experience and passion to make your event one to remember.

 

Event catering, dinners at home, wedding breakfasts, family luncheons, bowl food parties, feasts in a field; get in touch with your requirements and we will create a menu specially tailored for you.

We (Andrew and Eilidh) first met in 2005 working together at The White Lion at Crays Pond. Andrew then took on his first tenancy at The Half Moon in Cuxham which is where we discovered our love for homegrown produce - including rearing our own pigs, geese and turkeys for the table.

In 2012 an opportunity to resurrect 'The Goose' in Britwell Salome became a reality and the untameable beast 'The Red Lion' was opened. Andrew won 'Chef of the Year' and placed 25th in Budvar's Top 50 GastroPub Awards, Oxford Times' 'Best Restaurant of The Year', 'Best Food Pub' in the South-East from The Great British Pub Awards and two Michelin Bib Gourmands.

In 2015 we were looking for our next step in life. In what seemed like a twist of fate, we found ourselves back in Cuxham with a restoration project on our hands in the form of an old watermill. We moved from Britwell and virtually wheeled in our commercial kit straight in from the Pub kitchen, and 'Cuxham Mill' was created. Last year we made the big decision to invest in building a brand new kitchen space on Monument business Park in Chalgrove. Now are aren't cooking at The Mill full time, we occasionally host Supperclubs here, and love welcoming guests in to our own dining room.
